Sweet and Sour Green Beans

1 can sliced green beans
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. dill weed
1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
Directions:

Partially drain green beans.  Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, and dill.  Add to green beans and heat thoroughly.

Note--This works beautifully with sliced sweet onions as well.  Simply thick slice the onions, boil the ingredients above, pour over the onions, cover, and refrigerate.  Turn frequently to be sure all onions are covered with sauce.  Perfect for any recipe that calls for raw onions--adds a truly unique zip!
